TOP 5 WISHES FOR MY BIRTHDAY

# 5: I want to have a new pair of shoes.

I find it Ironic that since I started working, my Imelda complex seem to have disappeared out of thin air. I just lost my obsession for shoes, slip-ons, sandals

# 4: I want to buy a new pair of jeans and blouse.

I seldom buy clothes. I buy for my birthday, Christmas and for very important emergency situations. But I am also an impulsive buyer at times. When I really love the outfit, I should have it or else I will feel really bad.

# 3: I love to have my own nylon guitar.

If you noticed, my 1st composition is already posted. Unfortunately I can't play it yet because it has no notation. I need to put chords. I can't do it if I don't have a guitar. Huh! Someday I will have one.

# 2: I would love to go and celebrate in an orphanage.

Much as I want to rest, I would want to celebrate my birthday with the kids who are not as fortunate as I am. Those who have no parents and home. Those children who have nowhere to go or because they are not wanted by their parents so they were just given to an institution. I am not saying that they are not happy with these institutions but I just have a soft heart for these kids. I just want to share with them a part of my blessings.

# 1: I want to celebrate this special day with the special people in my life, my family, and friends from different groups.

As the saying goes, you cannot love if you have not been loved. You can only give what you have. I am very lucky to have a wonderful family and a very good set of friends. I really treasure them. I would love to celebrate this day with these people. All of us together. We are one big happy familyÜ.

2006 - SILVER YEAR

Five days from now, I will be celebrating my silver year on this world. I am turning 25. I can still remember when I was a child, 25 year old people for me should be stable financially, with good career and already have a family or at least ready to have one. Looking at myself now, I don't think I am any of those.

25 year olds then are different from the 25 year olds now. Haha...favorite disclaimer of people who are in denial . But then I don't dicount that there is truth in it also.

My mother got married at the age of 24 and had me at the age of 25. Wow, big big difference!

Well I guess reality really differs from time to time and all I can do is to adjust.

Another first

Umamin is my first composition.

Again I am just thinking aloud, this time it has rhythm.

It is just so hard to repress everything. Therefore I channeled it to something more worthwhile and productive.

I don't expect people to appreciate it. I don't expect you to understand. I am not asking for anything. I just want it out

What is written may be true or maybe not.

But then again this is just me thinking aloud.

GIVING LIFE TO MY WARDROBE

I was scanning my clothes the other day. I noticed that only 3 colors dominate my wardrobe, blue, white and pink. I got bored with it. And so, I came up with a list of blouse colors I want to have. I just wish I will be able to buy at least one for each color. (In order of preferenceÜ)

1. red
2. chocolate
3. yellow
4. orange/rust
5. black

Hopefully by the end of the year I have all these already...Haha wishful thinking!

GREENER PASTEUR

I have a childhood friend whose family left the country for a greener pasteur. They went to Canada and stayed there for good.

I was scanning old pictures last week. Then I suddenly saw our picture holding a yellow banner. We were still very young. How's about that, me and my kinky hair and bangs, wearing short shorts and shirt. Haha...

I hurriedly look for him in friendster and jackpot! His picture seemingly looking back at me, smiling at me. He seems to be waiting for me. hahaha...

I left him a message and to my surprise, he answered. I answered back and again he didn't fail me. He answered my e-mail even if it is already late.

I sent him a message for the third time. I am so excited to hear his stories. I felt so special, kilig and happy.

It made me think.

Should I go for the greener pasteur?

Dinner at recipes with the birthday boy (who doesn 't want to be surprised). The food was great! Their iced tea bottle is cute haha... Ang ganda ng smile namin di ba?
